🎯 The Role
You own the entire grid connection lifecycle in the German market for our full site portfolio—including BESS, PV, and EV charging infrastructure—from initial site screening and grid feasibility to the final connection agreement and energisation.You are hands-on in the field and at the negotiation table: You inspect transformer stations on-site, drive applications forward with DSOs (and TSOs), and actively optimize and automate internal workflows to scale approvals across hundreds of sites.You spearhead cross-functional alignment and technical delivery, collaborating closely with our engineering team in Germany, external planning partners, and key customers to steer projects smoothly through Ready to Build (RTB) to Commercial Operation Date (COD).🚀 What you'll do
Survey the sites. You go out, look at the transformer station, transfer station, existing connection, metering and cable routes yourself, and capture what the application needsShape energy hubs from the grid side. You work hand in hand with the Solution Engineer and design every energy hub from a grid perspective: what the connection allows, what it costs and how fast we get itFile the applications. Grid connection request, document package, concept single line diagram. Complete and reviewable, first time roundNegotiate with the DSOs. You run the conversation from the first request through the grid impact assessment to the connection offer and the grid connection chargeSteer grid studies. Harmonics, short-circuit currents, protection coordination. You commission them, check the result and defend it in the meetingPrepare certification. Plant certificate, metering concept, protection concept, aligned with the certification bodySee commissioning through. You are the interface to the DSO until the energy hub goes liveBuild the standard. You build and automate the entire process, so we handle five hundred applications, not five🚀 Your first 90 days
