At Contrarian Ventures, we’re seeking a talented Data Scientist/Developer to help us leverage data to drive better decision-making and optimize our venture capital fund’s operations. We’re a leading VC firm investing in early-stage climate tech across Europe and Israel.

About the Role You will play a key role in shaping our data-driven venture capital (DDVC) initiative, building from the ground up. We’re ideally looking for someone with 3-5 years of experience and skills/strong interest in full-stack development, mass data scraping, machine learning, and LLMs. Experience in finance or early-stage private market investing would be a plus.

What You’ll Do:

• Build automations to streamline workflows across our team
• Build integrations between tools we rely on (e.g., our deal sourcing tool and CRM)
• Analyze and make use of our rich first-party data to guide smarter investment decisions
• Create dashboards for real-time monitoring and updates of our portfolio companies
• Scrape and analyze company data to enrich our understanding of the markets
• Help build predictive models to identify promising investment opportunities and trends in the climate tech sector

Location & Flexibility: Our team is based across Vilnius, Munich, and London. We expect you to be in one of these offices at least 3 days a week, ideally.
